What we collect, and what we refuse to
Three kinds of thing. What you tell a reader on WhatsApp: your name, your gotra, and, if a reading needs it, your birth date, time and city. What an order needs: a delivery address and a phone number. What a payment needs: handled entirely by the payment provider; we never see or store your card or UPI details.
We do not run analytics that profile you, we do not sell or rent anything about you to anybody, and we do not use your details to advertise to you elsewhere.
Birth details, specifically
Birth date, time and city are the most identifying things you will ever send an astrology business, and they are treated accordingly.
- They are given to a reader on WhatsApp. There is no form on this website that collects them, by design.
- They are not entered into a CRM, a spreadsheet, an analytics tool or any third-party service.
- They are never published, never shown in a public comment, and never shared with another customer.
- Ask us to delete them and we delete them, from the reader’s device too, and confirm in writing.
Conversations happen on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by its own privacy terms, not ours. Messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit; what remains is the message history on the reader’s phone and yours. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, write to hello@whitemagicwellness.com and we will arrange another way.
Recordings
A rite is filmed and the film is sent to you. It contains your name and gotra, spoken at the sankalp. We do not publish it, we do not use it in marketing, and we do not show it to anyone else. We keep a copy for 28 days in case you lose yours, then delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
How long we keep things
Order records for as long as Indian tax law requires us to. Birth details only for as long as a reader is working with you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Conversations on WhatsApp for as long as you keep them.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. Write to hello@whitemagicwellness.com. We will reply within 48 hours and act within thirty days.
Children
We do not sell to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything about a child. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. If the change is material we tell you on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
